“Museum side” :

For the Fontainebleau castle, the workshop is working on two lounge chair of the emperor Napoleon III‘s chambers; whose have been done in blue Levant during the Second Empire than transformed at the beginning of the 20th century. They will be restoring like originally, a trimming pad.

Concerning Compiegne castle, the workshop do an important restoration on the Empress Eugenie’s music salon’s furniture.

This house furniture Louis XVI in gold wood, press of Sené and completed with a daybed of Jacob have been done for Queen Marie-Antoinette to the castle of Saint-Cloud chamber; than remake on trimming pad and recover by green damask for Empress Eugenie during the second empire, before to be refill and recover a last time by a red Lamp for the visit of the Tsar in 1900.

So is in question to put house furnishings back in condition of the second Empire, that mean recover with green damask, but above all the trimming pad. This is a first restoration of historic furniture of 18th century but it finds his place on the décor of Napoleon III on Compiegne’s castle in particular in this room very private was the Music Room of the Empress.
 
For the castle of Versailles, the workshop finishes the restore of the two lounge chair of Marie-Antoinette on Trianon.
