03/11/08
"Museums Side" :The beautiful seats of Cleveland Museum along with those of the Petit Trianon have gloriously gotten back to their respective museum thanks to the Maison Brazet master work.
One of the greatest fall 08 event is the reopening of the Petit Trianon after a two-year renovation period. We strongly recommend our dear readers to enjoy a visit and admire Marie-Antoinette chairs that are displayed in the little dining room along with empress Marie-Louise foyer whose furniture and curtains have been restored by la Maison Brazet.
Since then, la Maison Brazet workshop is working on two padded armchairs of emperor Napoleon III office at Fontainebleau castel, covered with blue leather.
"Private Side" :
The grand Art Nouveau mansion, located in Reims and named Villa Demoiselle with respect to the well-known champagne brand, has been reopened to the public in septembre (from Wednesday till Sunday) after a five–year renovation period.
All of the seats, curtains and the wall-paper have been done by la Maison Brazet.
Several private clients are actually ordering knitted XIII ème lampas over Philippe de Lassalle designs that will be covering cute armchairs being restored actually.
Those valuable customers via their prestigious orders contribute to sustain Lyon and Tours weavers know-how by providing them continous jobs.
