Jacques Brazet set up a workshop shortly after the Second World War. He was quickly recognized as one of the leading upholsterers of his time, esteemed in the great French national museums.

In the nineteen sixties, he took on a partner in Jean Dominique Serres, a designer at Jacques Fath. Serres, taste in decors allowed the development of that side of the business.

Brazet's son Remy joined the business in 1983, allying solid practical experience with three years? study at the Ecole du Louvre. He would go on to perfect an innovative non-invasive chassis conservation technique, in use at the Maison since 1996.
